How this tool works
Simple balance = principal × (1 + APR × days ÷ 365). Compounded balance = principal × (1 + APR ÷ n) ^ (n × days ÷ 365).
A worked example
1,000 tokens at 5% simple APR for 365 days produces 50 hypothetical reward tokens.
Assumptions & limits
Constant APR assumption; fractional periods are interpolated. Rewards are in tokens, not fiat profit. Excludes fees, lockups, slashing, price changes and protocol rules. Yields are not guaranteed.

A staking rewards estimate applies an assumed annual percentage rate to a token balance over time. Without compounding, rewards grow with principal, rate and duration. Compounding reinvests hypothetical rewards. This simulator reports token amounts, not guaranteed income or fiat investment profit.
How to use this tool
- Enter your starting token amount and a hypothetical APR as a percentage.
- Set the number of days and choose no compounding, daily, monthly or yearly compounding.
- Calculate the final token balance and inspect the milestone table. Compare scenarios while keeping fees and protocol-specific risks separate.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between APR and APY?
APR is an annual rate before the effect of compounding. APY reflects compounding over a year under stated assumptions. This tool accepts APR and models your selected compounding frequency rather than treating APR as APY.
Are estimated staking rewards guaranteed?
No. Actual rewards depend on protocol rules, validator performance, network conditions and fees. Slashing, lockups and token-price changes can also affect the outcome.
How does the calculator handle part of a compounding period?
It uses a mathematical growth model that interpolates fractional periods, with a 365-day year. A protocol that pays only on discrete dates can produce different rewards.
