Crypto profit is the amount left after subtracting the full purchase cost from net sale proceeds. A price increase can still produce a loss when fees exceed the gain. This calculator includes percentage fees on both sides and shows return on the original cost, total fees and the sell price needed to break even.
How to use this tool
- Enter the buy price and sell price in the same quote currency, such as USD or INR.
- Enter the token quantity and the percentage fee charged on each trade. A 0.1% fee should be entered as 0.1.
- Select Calculate. Compare net profit, return on cost and break-even price before changing your assumptions.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate crypto profit after fees?
Multiply quantity by buy price and add the buy fee. Multiply quantity by sell price and subtract the sell fee. Net profit is the second amount minus the first. ROI is that profit divided by the purchase cost, multiplied by 100.
Does this crypto calculator include tax?
No. It models one purchase and one sale with percentage trading fees. Tax treatment, cost-basis rules, funding, slippage and network fees need separate calculations.
Can I use this for any cryptocurrency?
Yes, provided the buy and sell prices use one consistent quote currency and you enter the same token quantity on both sides. It does not fetch prices or predict returns.
